Energy Consulting Group, LLC, a power and natural gas consulting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a qualified energy professional for the position of Power Scheduler. The main scope of this position is asset management, scheduling, and reporting of our client’s physical and financial transactions in a dynamic 24-hour, 365-day marketplace.
Responsibilities:- Scheduling power assets, options, heat rates, and energy products
- Analyze electric and natural gas market conditions; recommend solutions and provide other client services as needed
- Asset management and monthly reconciliation
- Create and analyze price curves
- Identify and manage risk exposure
- Identify and communicate potential short-term and long-term power supply opportunities
- Assist with valuation of client portfolio of energy and related assets utilizing spreadsheets, market fundamentals, and price forecasting techniques
- Strong technical, financial and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Team player with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline
